Covid-19 claims 8 more lives in Punjab
With 141 fresh infections, total virus cases exceed 345,790 across the province
The coronavirus pandemic has claimed eight more lives across the province over the past 24 hours.
According to the data shared by the spokesperson of Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD), 141 fresh infections were reported in Punjab after which the number of coronavirus cases swelled across 345,790.
The total recoveries were 326,231 and total deaths reached in Punjab 10,721.
As per the data provided by the P&SHD, currently 8,844 patients were under treatment in different hospitals across the province.

The provincial health department conducted 18,528 tests for Covid-19 during the past 24 hours, thus the total number of coronavirus tests reached 5.58 million in Punjab.
The health department officials had appealed the citizens to follow SOPs for their protection and cover their faces with masks.
The people should wash their hands with soap several times in a day to protect themselves from Covid-19.
Contact helpline 1033 immediately on symptoms of coronavirus, the healthcare department officials urged the citizens.
