Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) said on Thursday that it would oppose government’s “efforts to facilitate the escape of Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav, who has been sentenced to death for espionage”.
Speaking to the media, PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto criticised the government for keeping parliament in the dark over and was trying to “secretly” bring a bill to the parliament to “help the spy fleeing the country”.
The Bhutto scion said that PPP will vote against the bill, adding, “We will not be a facilitator in Kulbhushan Jadhav case”.

“If he [Imran Khan] wants, he can give NRO to Kulbhushan”.
Speaking of the current situation in neighbouring Afghanistan and Pakistan’s role in it, he reminded that, “We have learned a lot from the Afghan issue”.
“The decisions we make today for Afghanistan will have consequences for 30 years," he said, adding that the parliament should be informed about the deal.

Expressing apprehensions about PM Imran’s rebuttal of the reports that Pakistan would provide airbases to US, Bilawal Bhutto said he did not believe in the premier’s statements.
“There are concerns that Imran Khan will take a U-turn on the issue,” he added.
