LAHORE:

Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said a legal notice would be served to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Azma Bukhari for levelling allegations against Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and his principal secretary.

A legal team of the Chief Minister’s Office has consulted concerning the issuance of the legal notice and nefarious allegations levelled by Azma Bukhari in the press conference were reviewed.

Dr Awan said legal notice for defamation will be sent to Azma Bukhari by the legal team. Bukhari has levelled baseless allegations against Buzdar and his principal secretary on the behest of her absconding leader Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and Maryam Safdar.

Legal action will be initiated against Azma Bukhari for levelling nefarious, concocted and baseless allegations, she added.
