ASTORE: The two megawatt power project, which will benefit 20,000 people in Astore will start functioning from August 20. This was stated by Water and Power Executive Engineer Fayyaz Alam on Friday. He said the cost of the project was approximately Rs20.6 million, which would reduce load shedding in the district. Currently the electricity was being provided through Pareshing, Gudai, Rattu, Doyan and Cheluma power houses.
