‘Zahid Ladla group member’ held

Gangster has been working on task to target kill three informants of a Law Enforcement Agency and an ASI level cop

Baghdadi Police claimed on Wednesday to have arrested the commander of Zahid Ladla group, confiscating a grenade from his possession during an operation near Dubai Chowk in Phool Patti Lane, Lyari, Karachi.

According to City SSP Sarfaraz Nawaz, the arrested Lyari gangster, Muhammad Adeel alias Guddal has revealed during initial interrogation that he had been working on the task to target kill three informants of a Law Enforcement Agency and an ASI level cop, allegedly assigned by Zahid Ladla, and it was supposed to be completed in a few days.

Adeel also confessed about threatening people with the grenade to extort them in the name of Zahid Ladla group, claimed the SPP.

He further stated that more confessions are expected during further interrogation. Adeel was booked in another case under Anti-Terrorism Act and Explosives Act and the confiscated grenade was sent to Bomb Disposal Squad officials to defuse.
