Fireworks: Son, father injured in explosion

FAISALABAD: A man and his son sustained serious injuries due to a blast of fireworks in the Jaranwala Sadar Police station precincts on Friday. The roof of a house belonging to Ejaz Husain also caved in owing to the blast. According to police officials, Husain was making fireworks in his house when they exploded. A police party and large number of locals rushed to the spot and shifted Husain and his son Fida to the THQ hospital. Police officials have registered a case against Husain for illegally manufacturing and selling fireworks.
