Indian actor Yami Gautam recently married Aditya Dhar, the director of Uri: The Surgical Strike, according to The Indian Express. The announcement was made via Instagram. The couple shared a picture from their wedding ceremony, with the actor clad in a traditional red sari and her now-husband in an ivory sherwani.
“In your light, I learn to love- Rumi. With the blessings of our family, we have tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony today. Being very private people, we celebrated this joyous occasion with our immediate family. As we embark on the journey of love and friendship, we seek all your blessings and good wishes. Love, Yami and Aditya,” read the caption to the picture.
Actor Vikrant Massey commented on the picture saying, “Bahut bahut bahut badhaaiyaan (many congratulations) Yami ji and Bhai sahab. Incredible. God bless you both!!!! Dher saara pyaar (lots of love)!!!”
The two worked together on Aditya’s film Uri in which Yami had a starring role. The director won a National Award for the film. Yami will be seen next in the role of a playschool teacher who takes 16 children hostage in the film A Thursday.
