A eunuch living in a rented quarters on Jhumra Road was killed by unidentified assailants who smashed a glass bottle in the face and fled. Police took the body of the eunuch into custody and shifted it to a hospital for postmortem.
Police said 27-year-old transgender Ali Raza, a resident of Main Bazaar Ravi Rayan Sheikhupura, was staying in a quarter near Pul-e-Nishatabad Jhumra Road in Millat Town. He used to earn his living by dancing. Unidentified assailants broke a glass bottle during a fight last night and severely injured his face and various parts of her body. He succumbed to her injuries on the spot.
The murder of the eunuch was reported in the afternoon, the citizen informed Rescue 15. Upon receiving the information, DSP Nishatabad Fayyaz Ehsan and Investigation Incharge Millat Town Police Station reached the spot.
The victim returned from a dance party at night when he got into an argument with two unidentified persons who came to his quarters who brutally killed him after breaking a glass bottle. The blood stains of the victim were there to be seen on the walls.
