Following a tip-off, a Tilak Nagar police team conducted a raid at the house on Wednesday around 3 pm and arrested a young man.
He was later identified as Naimat Ullah.
Initially, Naimat told the police that he was from Kandahar in Afghanistan and his father Taj Mohammad was arrested by the Directorate of Revenue of Intelligence in 2010 in connection with a drug-peddling case in Amritsar, The Hindu reported on Friday.
On sustained interrogation, Naimat purportedly told the police that he belonged to Quetta in Pakistan and his father's name is Khan Mohammad.
He further told the police that he came to Delhi two years ago on an Afghanistan passport on 30-day business visa.
Naimat and his father were involved in drug-peddling and his passport was seized by DRI officials.
His father is presently detained in Tihar Central Jail.

Sounds like a "Non-State Actor" to me. Looks like all the "actors" in Pakistan are expanding into other areas of activity given the defunct nature of the local film industry.
He further told the police that he came to Delhi two years ago on an Afghanistan passport on 30-day business visa.....Two years ago he was eighteen. Regardless of his crime and nationality, he is my Hero because of his entrepreneurial skills. He must have started this venture very young, may be when he was thirteen. It takes minimum eighteen months to obtain an Afghan Passport. To obtain Indian Business Visa may take minimum five years if you are teenager. He must be the first teenager to obtain an Indian Business Visa. You rock man, and you are not a state actor.
@Fareed: What is unacceptable? That a person who is a drug peddler and has been illegally residing in India for 2 years was arrested? @Someone If the person has a Pakistani passport, he will be described as Pakistani. Why do you find that strange. If someone is not truly Pakistani and the Pak government would not like them to be identified as Pakistani, they should not be given a Pakistani passport. @Jameel The passage quoted from The Hindu is fairly neutral. I do not see anything jingoistic. What is the point you are making?
@Someone: experss tribune is pakistani media, ask them, and read the above news once more.
@Jameel: illegal foreigners (especially pakistanis ) in any country (India) are untrustworthy., i don't know the condition of pakistan, will you accept all illegals??
@Maulana Diesel: because of the name THE HINDU?? loll, then Indus river is India's private property.
Indian media is just plain idiotic. They mostly tend to be BJP supporters.
This is how India is when they hear the name Pakistan.
This is unacceptable....
