Mobile vaccination vans hit K-P streets

To serve and facilitate the senior citizens who cannot go to hospitals says CM

PESHAWAR:

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan inaugurated the mobile vaccination service in Peshawar on Thursday to facilitate the elderly at their doorsteps.

“In the initial phase, three vehicles will run on different routes on the outskirts of Peshawar,” he said.

On the occasion, CM Mahmood said the aim and objective of launching the mobile corona vaccination services is to serve and facilitate the senior citizens who cannot go to hospitals or do not want to go due to the prevailing third wave will be vaccinated at their homes.

The chief minister added that the service will be extended to other districts soon.

The launching ceremony was held at the CM House with Health and Finance Minister Taimur Jhagra, Minister Sharam Tarakai, SACM Kamran Khan Bangash, health department officials, doctors and people from different walks of life in attendance.
