‘Govt to ensure top municipal services’
Punjab Minister for Special Education Chaudhry Muhammad Ikhlaq has said Punjab government will ensure the provision of world class municipal facilities to the people of Sialkot under the supervision of experts from Asian Development Bank.
He stated this while addressing a meeting held at the DC’s office to review the Punjab Inter-Cities Improvement Investment programme.
He further said that work had been started on mega projects including clean drinking water supply, upgradation of parks and sewerage system, solid waste and waste water treatment plants in Sialkot at a cost of Rs17 billion.
The provincial minister directed the officials concerned to take all possible steps for timely completion of the projects.
