LAHORE:

Punjab Chief Secretary Jawwad Rafique Malik said on Sunday that ‘unfair treatment’ meted out to an administrative officer in a Ramazan Bazaar in Sialkot was condemnable.

He was apparently referring to Special Assistant Firdaus Ashiq Awan’s reported remarks during a visit to the bazaar earlier in the day over the sale of substandard items.

In a statement, the CS said AC Sonia Sadaf and other administrative officers were on the frontline despite the scorching heat and coronavirus pandemic.

The CS said the use of unethical language with any officer or staff was condemnable. He said administrative officers across Punjab were present in the field day and night for the convenience of people, which was highly laudable.
