LAHORE:

Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar said on Tuesday that the politicisation of Covid-19 pandemic exposes the height of apathy among members of the opposition.

“They are point-scoring at the cost of human lives,” he lamented.

In his recent statement, the chief minister appealed to the nation that it is time to heal the wounds of ailing humanity and not engage in mudslinging.

He strongly condemned the politicisation of the coronavirus pandemic and admonished the opposition over their lust for power.

“They had not even cared for the people during the second wave and put their lives at risk,” he pointed out.

The CM appealed to the nation to undertake every effort to protect their lives by remaining inside their homes and following the government outlined SOPs.

Buzdar stressed that public support is crucial to overcome this menace.

“If the citizens do not want the government to impose more restrictions then they should follow the directions given by the authorities to curb the menace,” he explained.
