Ample supply of oxygen at LUH: official

Hospital has three storage tanks with the capacity of 10,000 litres

HYDERABAD:

The administration of Liaquat University Hospital has informed that there is no shortage of oxygen in the hospital as three storage tanks with the capacity of 10,000 litres each are available.

LUH Administration Director Sattar Jatoi said that two tanks are in LUH Hyderabad and one in LUH Jamshoro. He told that one of the tanks has been reserved for the Covid-19 patients who consume 10,000 liters in around five days. "There is no shortage of oxygen so far and the suppliers have also assured that the hospital will be their priority," Jatoi said.

However to be on the safe side, he said the government should issue order to suspend liquid oxygen supply to the industries.
