Renowned Lollywood actors Bushra Ansari and Asma Abbas' sister, Sumbal Shahid is fighting for her life on the ventilator after contracting the deadly coronavirus infection. Both siblings have requested their fans and social media followers to make a prayer for their sister’s speedy recovery and health.
The Zebaish actor revealed the news of Shahid's ill-health on her Instagram handle and asked everyone to remember her in their prayers. She captioned it, “Meri piyari baji (My lovely sister) is on the ventilator. Please pray for her to come back.” Soon after, many fans of the Nand actor left well-wishes and small prayers in the comments section.
A few weeks ago, Ansari had also shared photo of her sister and penned, “My darling sister Sumbul Shahid is fighting a battle with Covid-19 these days. Please pray for her speedy recovery. Char Chand salamat rahain ameen.” Also part of the showbiz industry, Shahid is best known for Golden Girls, a show that she hosted back in the day. She is also popular for the fan favourite drama serial, Dolly Ki Ayegi Baraat.
