LAHORE: The federation has decided to challenge the formation of a full bench in the President’s dual offices case.

The federation will file an appeal in this regard.

Lahore High Court on Monday dismissed the plea against the maintainability of the case. The LHC also rejected the federal government's objection regarding the case’s hearing.

The government's lawyer had earlier argued that the court was not authorised to hear the case.

The court is hearing petitions against Asif Zardari's holding of dual offices of President of Pakistan and Co-chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party.
