In pictures: Syra Yousuf’s intimate birthday bash

From anniversaries to weddings and even birthdays, celebrations have become smaller ever since the coronavirus pandemic broke out. Guest lists are really not the same and more often than not, just close friends and immediate family members make the cut now. It may be unfortunate but on the brighter side of it, small gatherings are the perfect opportunity to make memories and catch up with your nearest and dearest. Local showbiz star Syra Yousuf’s 33rd birthday bash was no different. With very few people in attendance, the actor’s bash still looked hip and happening!

Syra took to Instagram to share snippets from her special day. In some of the images, she can be seen cutting her unicorn-themed two-tier cake while being surrounded by balloons and flowers.

Beaming with joy, the Project Ghazi star seemed to have had two cake-cutting ceremonies – a midnight celebration followed by a small dinner the next day. Syra was clad in a casual look for the former, sporting a white tee and a pair of denims.

For the dinner party, the starlet was dressed in a zebra-printed crop top featuring a knot and black flared pants. The celebration was kept intimate and cosy, with her sister Palwasha Yousuf, Alizeh Jung, Mustafa Ali Qureshi and Aswad Khan appearing to have had a great time.

After a long break from films, Syra has multiple projects in the pipeline, including a film with former husband Shahroz Sabzwari. And although she has been the talk of the town for her latest modelling gigs lately, there's no denying that we really missed her on our screens.
