I’ll move ICJ if justice not administered: Talal Bugti

ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) Talal Akbar Bugti has said that he will move the International Court of Justice (ICJ) if he is not given justice in the murder case of Nawab Akbar Bugti, who was killed in an operation during the regime of former president Pervez Musharraf.

While speaking at a news conference on Monday, he said: “No justice has been administered by high courts. I have now moved the SC to seek justice. Former president Pervez Musharraf, by killing Nawab Akbar Bugti, had conspired to break away Balochistan from Pakistan and through the murder of Benazir Bhutto he tried to break up Sindh.”

He alleged that President Zardari and Interior Minister Rehman Malik were fully supporting Musharraf and giving him full protocol. “They are continuing with the policies of Musharraf,” he added.

The inquiry report into Benazir’s assassination was being concealed because Law Minister Babar Awan and Interior Minister Rehman Malik had been named therein, he alleged.

Responding to a question, Talal Bugti said he would start his visit to Punjab within a few days and would request the people of Punjab to join hands with him in long march to save the country.
