KARACHI:

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said the NED University of Engineering and Technology (NEDUET) has proved to be one of the best institutions because its students have made significant contributions to the country's development.

He said this while addressing a prize distribution ceremony of a pedestrian bridge design competition held for the NEDUET's students.

Addressing the ceremony, the CM said he was very happy to see the students' work.

"The entries depict their in-depth understanding of critical locations where the bridges will be constructed," he said. "Aesthetics, combined with design logic, have made many of these proposals outstanding."

Murad said he was sure that the Karachi Development Authority would incorporate the entries according to the actual requirements of the assignment.

He urged the students to remain associated with the execution of this public oriented construction exercise.
