Militant killed, four nabbed in Sibi

Terrorist was involved in heinous crimes including killing a woman and injuring two minor girls in an IED blast

Counter Terrorism Department on Monday killed a suspected terrorist and arrested four others belonging to a banned outfit in Balochistan’s Sibi district on Monday. According to a spokesperson, an intelligence report was received pertaining to the presence of two suspected terrorists namely Hazar Khan and Haleem Khan. Acting on the tip-off, CTD officials raided a suspected hideout in the Gori area of Tehsil-Bakhtiayabad where an exchange of fire took place between them. The slain terrorist Haleem was involved in heinous crimes including killing a woman and injuring two minor girls in an IED blast. During the raid, two Kalashnikovs, one rifle and bomb making material were recovered from their possession. LEAs have tightened the nose around terrorists and conducted timely operations against terrorist networks and their facilitators. A case has been lodged with CTD Sibi police station and further investigation is underway
