Usman Mukhtar ties the knot in an intimate ceremony

The couple pulled back their SOP-compliant wedding due to the alarming rise in Covid-19 cases in Pakistan

Usman Mukhtar is a married man! 

The acclaimed Parchi star has tied the knot in an intimate nikkah ceremony with a girl named Zunaira Inam Khan. Mukhtar took to Instagram and shared few pictures from the event, followed by a heartfelt caption for the occasion. The couple, clad in colour-coordinated outfits, looked nothing less than ecstatic. 

"Thank you for making me the luckiest man on earth. I haven’t felt such happiness in a very long time," wrote the Bench director. He went on to add, "You’ve stood by me in the moments I was down and amplified the happy moments. You have been my rock and my support. I am blessed."

Mukhtar further shared details of his SOP-compliant wedding. "Dear world, I married this amazing woman today in a small, socially-distant gathering." He further added how his wedding date was done early due to the alarming rise in the number of Covid-19 cases and partial lockdowns. 

"Our big day was supposed to be on April 2 but due to the lockdown restrictions from April 1, we had to pull it back," the actor continued. "We were tested and followed SOPs. We both need your duas and blessings."

Soon after his announcement, many congratulations started pouring in for the newly-weds. “Congratulations, dude! Mashallah! May Allah bless you both with eternal love and respect in this world in the next," Kubra Khan wrote, while Falak Shabbir welcomed Mukhtar to the club! Yumna Zaidi, too, sent her love to the couple. "Mashallah, really happy for you as you both make a very grateful couple. MashAllah. Congratulations." 

Uzair Jaswal, Momina Mustehsan, Rubya Chaudhry, Muskh Kaleem, Armeena Rana Khan, Momal Sheikh, Aiman Khan and countless other celebrities showered their love for the newlyweds as well.
