Three people were killed and four others were injured in separate road accidents in the metropolis on Tuesday.
A speeding trailer truck rammed into a Qingqi rickshaw near Northern Bypass, leaving two dead on the spot and three others injured.
The deceased and the injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities and treatment, respectively. The deceased were identified as Muhammad Nazim, 16, and Sadiq, 24, and the injured were identified as Muhammad Asif, 22, Mohammad Bilal, 50, and Abid.
The driver of the truck fled immediately after the accident and the police remained unaware of it for hours.
Separately, a man was killed and two others were injured when the motorcycle they were on slipped on the road in Baldia Town. The body and injured were shifted to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital for medico-legal formalities and medical treatment, respectively.
The deceased was identified as Muhammad Hassan, 26, and the injured was identified as Muhammad Ismail, 30.
