Duties re-assigned, officials reshuffled

ISLAMABAD:

Dr Ismat Tahira, a BS-21 officer, has been given the additional charge of the additional secretary of the Benazir Income Support Programme with immediate effect, said a notification of the Establishment Division on Monday.

Dr Tahira, an officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), presently serving as the additional secretary of the Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division, has been assigned the additional duties for three months, pending the posting of a regular incumbent.

Similarly, Farhan Aziz Khawaja, a BS-21 officer of the PAS, has been transferred and his services are being placed at the disposal of the National School of Public Policy, on a deputation basis, with immediate effect.
