PTI starts proceedings against regional presidents

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday initiated proceedings against two regional presidents of Balochistan chapter of the party for violating discipline.

Dr Muneer Baloch and Nawab Khan Dummar of the PTI had severely criticised the party’s decision for awarding Senate tickets to the candidates during a press conference.

PTI’s Central Standing Committee on Accountability and Discipline Chairman Salman Aftab issued notices to both the officials for submitting an explanation.

Muneer is the president of PTI’s Balochistan Northwest region, while Dummar was PTI’s Balochistan Northeast region.
