Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan Matsuda Kuninori said, "It was a pleasure to have this dialogue during this difficult situation due to Covid-19 and it proved the strength of cordial relations between our countries."

Representatives of both countries reviewed the current status of bilateral economic relations and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing the mutually beneficial economic cooperation in diverse fields.

Japan acknowledged Pakistan's geo-economic location with its connectivity potential and a hub for transit trade in the region, which could prove an attractive destination for Japanese investors.
