3,995 people inoculated in K-P

PESHAWAR:

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa health department has confirmed that 3,995 elderly persons have been inoculated against Covid-19 up till now.

According to the data released, 1,361 senior citizens were vaccinated in the second phase of the process.

Lady Reading Hospital spokesperson Muhammad Asim told The Express Tribune that 350 people received their Covid jabs at LRH while 300 in Hayatabad Medical Centre. Some vaccinated citizens have also been kept under observations for monitoring of any side effects.

More than 10,000 health workers across the province were vaccinated in the first phase.

whereas 3,404 health department employees also received their Covid jabs.

The registration process for availing the vaccine has been made easier on tehsil and district level.
