Society depends on institutes that integrate education with teaching and training, which provide differently-abled persons equal opportunities and a chance to live with self-respect and earn a decent living through their own efforts, said Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Saturday.
He expressed these views while addressing the inaugural ceremony of Karachi Vocational and Training Centre's (KVTC's) Jiddat outlet.
KVTC is playing a pivotal role in the training of differently-abled people in Pakistani society, particularly Sindh, he said, terming the setting up of Jiddat a milestone not just in the journey of KVTC, but all differently-abled people in the country.
