Calling Sherlock won't stop Pakistanis getting a kick out of Senate's 'camera' problem

In a bizarre occurrence on Friday, the Senate session was marred by the commotion Friday as 'spy cameras' were found by the opposition members above and inside the polling booth installed for the elections of the chairman and the deputy chairman of the Upper House.

Taking to Twitter, PPP's Mustafa Nawaz Khokar tweeted a picture saying that he and " Musadik [Malik] found spy camera right over the polling booth."

This prompted a spontaneous exchange between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) Fawad Chaudhry and Khokhar over social media.

Responding to the opposition's claims, Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry opined that the camera looked "more like a CCTV cable" and that "spy cameras are far more sophisticated".

He then called for the Senate secretary to look into the claim. After his initial tweet, Chaudhry, in an attempt to 'educate' opposition lawmakers and his Twitter followers shared a picture of a spy camera.
