Courts closed: Sindh Bar Council calls for strike today

            The Sindh Bar Council has called for a strike on Thursday, August 11, in protest against the killing of Muhammad Aslam, a lawyer from Ghotki. The Malir Bar Association, Sindh High Court Bar Association and Karachi Bar Association have joined hands and all the courts will be closed. He was gunned down Wednesday evening as he was returning home from office. This is the eleventh lawyer to have been killed in the past 30 days.
