The Islamabad High Court sought an affidavit from a petitioner on the objection of fake documents along with comments from respondents in a case challenging the appointment of the Capital Development Authority’s board members.
CDA lawyer said on Wednesday that the petitioner, Ayaz Khan, had attached a fake notification with his case pertaining to the appointment of board members. He produced the real document before the bench and said that the CDA’s notification dated February 8, had been altered.
Chief Justice Athar Minallah expressed annoyance with the petitioner and asked him to submit an affidavit explaining how he managed to get this document. The court also directed him to submit an affidavit for not altering the document.
