Reform: NBP to develop its HR programme

NBP will establish a training centre at Karachi to ensure higher customer satisfaction.

LAHORE:
National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has taken a policy decision to develop its human resources in the long term to retain its position as number one financial institution of the country, said NBP President Qamar Hussainon Wednesday. NBP will establish a training centre at Karachi to ensure higher customer satisfaction, revitalize the Jamil Nishtar Management Development Centre and to offer courses on management and leadership development, he said. Senior Executive Vice President Dr Mirza Abrar Baig has been given the task of carrying out human resource (HR) initiatives for early implementation and focus on HR strategy for strengthening the HR base of the Bank, a circular released by NBP said.
