Covid claims six lives in K-P

PESHAWAR:

At least six people died due to Covid-19 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Monday. The province reported 191 new cases during the last 24 hours.

This has pushed up the total number of deaths due to coronavirus to 2,085 while the total number of affected people has reached 72,615.

According to the Health Department, three people in Peshawar, one in Haripur, one in Swat and one man in Dera Ismail Khan passed away.

Around 50 new cases were reported in Peshawar, 68 in Mansehra, 26 in Charsadda, eight in Mardan, seven in Kohat, six in Malakand, four in Khyber, four in Swat, four in Tor Ghar and three in Haripur.

During the past 24 hours, 97 people recovered from Covid-19 successfully.

However, there are 2,305 active cases in the province.
