Given the coronavirus pandemic, affordable healthcare is a greater need of the hour and companies and institutions both in the public and private sectors are ensuring that their workers get access to quality healthcare and medicines.
In this context, a farsighted police officer based in District Abbottabad has entered into agreements with nine different medical stores, private hospitals and medical labs regarding the provision of affordable private medical facilities to police personnel.
District Police Chief Zahoor Babar Afridi and SP Investigation Abbottabad Muhammad Ishtiaq have signed various contracts along with the administrators of private institutions to this effect.
A meeting was held with the representatives of various agencies affiliated with the department in which it was agreed to provide facilities to police personnel at the district level between the police and the agencies affiliated with the medical sector.
According to details, in a meeting between DIG Hazara Mirwais Niaz and representatives of various institutions related to the medical department, it was agreed that police personnel would be provided with healthcare and medicine facilities.
In this regard, a function was held at the DPO Office, Abbottabad to ink the agreement at the level of Abbottabad.
DPO Abbottabad Zahoor Babar Afridi, SP Investigation Muhammad Ishtiaq, and Hira General Hospital, Jinnah Hospital, Shaheen Chemist, Azam Medical Center, Idrees Chemist, D-Western Pharmacy, Healthway Laboratory, Aga Khan Laboratory and Abbott Lab were present.
On this occasion DPO Abbottabad and representatives of relevant medical stores, hospitals and laboratories signed the agreements.
