Inter-school sports planned

Cricket, hockey, football, volleyball, basketball and other events will be organised in all boys’ schools

ISLAMABAD:

Headmasters Association (HA) has formally approved to organise sports tournaments for Rawalpindi district.

Cricket, hockey, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, athletics, table tennis and other events will be organised in all boys’ schools across the districts.

For this purpose, the committees and their conveners have also been selected.

HA President Akram Zia and Secretary Sanaullah have also issued the schedule of the tournaments along with rules and regulations.

All students will have to bring their kits while the registration fee has been fixed at Rs150 per student while the team registration fee will be Rs1,000.

The hockey matches will be played at Shahnaz Sheikh Stadium on Syedpur Road and convened by Abdul Jalil.
