Government has decided to issue production orders of the member provincial assembly (MPA) Faisal Zaman who has been behind the bars on the charges of murder.
The production order will be issued to make sure his participation in the senate elections and his presence in the provincial assembly.
Faisal Zaman won the election as independent candidate from PK-42 Haripur 3 in the general elections. He is facing charges of murdering his opponent and was arrested after his bail before arrest plea was turned down by a court.
When contacted speaker K-P assembly Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani confirmed that the production orders of Faisal Zaman will be issued to make sure his presence in the assembly during the senate elections.
It is worth mentioning here that Faisal Zaman has been elected MPA on PTI ticket in the general elections of 2013. He, however, was expelled from the party along with 17 other MPAs on the charges of voting for non-party candidates and receiving money. He was not given party ticket in the next elections as a result he contested as independent candidate and won his seat.
He voted for CM Mahmood Khan during the voting for CM slot in the assembly.
