CDA carries out road repairs, lane marking

Development body of the federal capital is carrying out repair and lane marking on different roads in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD:

 The development body of the federal capital is carrying out repair and lane marking on different roads of Islamabad.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) said its workers were busy in fixing kerbstones on main thoroughfares including 9th Avenue, Ibn-e-Sina Road, Srinagar Highway, and service roads in sectors G-8, G-9, G-10, F-10, F-6, F-7, and F-11.

In a statement issued on Monday, CDA said that it has completed lane marking on Saddar Raod in Sector G-6 while painted kerbstones on roads in sectors G-6, G-7, Blue Area, and Khayban e Iqbal.

The signage work on Sector F-10, Jinnah Avenue, 7th Avenue, and 9th Avenue was underway too.

The road-patching and carpeting were being done in sectors G-7, G-6, G-8, G-9, I-8, I-9, and I-10 while broken concrete tiles of footpaths were being replaced on service road west F-11 and F-6 Markaz.

CDA workers were painting kerbstones on Shaheed-e-Millat Road along with the installation of new sit-outs in Sector F-7.
