Earlier last year, cricketer Shahid Afridi and his wife, welcomed their fifth daughter. The former cricketer had then posted a photo of himself with his newest born Arwa and his other daughter Asmara. The all-rounder also wrote a caption alongside the photo in which he expressed gratitude for having such a blessed life.

"Blessed to be surrounded by my angels Arwa and Asmara. Asmara was waiting for Arwa to wake-up and give her that million-dollar smile," he stated.

Now, the all-rounder has taken to social media and shared few images from her first birthday! "Happy first birthday to the youngest of my girls, Arwa," he wrote. "MashaAllah, you’ve brought our family so much happiness in such a short time. I pray Allah SWT gives you and all our children the best of everything. Love you to the moon and back."

The cricketer has never been the one to shy away from expressing his love for his daughters in front of the world. Earlier, the popular cricketer shared a heartfelt note of appreciation for his daughters. Taking to his Instagram, the popular personality said he considers them "the most wonderful gift of Allah" in his life.

"Didn't get to spend much time with my other daughters especially when they were growing up; feel blessed that now I have the time to see Arwa grow," he had written, along with photos of his youngest daughter. "May Allah bless her and protect her as well as children all around," the former cricket all-rounder had continued.

"So much joy and love my daughters give me, they make my mornings and my whole day worth it. May Allah bless them. Take good care and love your children."
