Court orders FIR over dogbite case

According to the order, the relevant municipal officials are to be booked for every dog bite case

HYDERABAD:

A court in Khairpur district has ordered the registration of an FIR against the chief municipal officer (CMO) and other officials after a stray dog bit three of the court’s employees on Friday.

The district and sessions court directed the A-Section police to register an FIR and nominate the CMO, the drug inspector and other relevant municipal staff. Following the incident, dozens of municipal staff reached the court and killed the stray dog.

The Sindh high court has already passed an order in connection with dogbite case.

According to the order, the relevant municipal officials are to be booked for every dog bite case.
