A man was killed in an armed attack in Korangi, in the limits of Zaman Town police station, late on Friday night.
According to the police, the deceased, identified as 44-year-old Ashfaq Hussain, was in a car with his wife outside his home when two unidentified men, on a motorcycle, stopped by the car, dragged him out and took him a few paces away.
They the shot him and fled, the police said. The police found two bullet shells at the crime scene and said the attackers had not attempted a robbery. The police said initial investigation indicated that Hussain was killed over personal enmity, the matter was being further investigated. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities.
