Intelligence agencies deny detaining HuT activists
A single-member bench headed by Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rehman resumed the hearing of four identical petitions seeking recovery of five missing persons.
A petition filed earlier said that Osama Hanif, a telecom engineer and graduate of the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), went missing from sector G-11, Islamabad.
The defence counsel had informed the court that law enforcement agencies had picked up his client without any reason while he was on his way to his office.
However, during the hearing of the case on Wednesday, the lawyers representing the Military Intelligence challenged the jurisdiction of the court and denied accusations of the agency holding the missing people.
Earlier, during the hearing of the other similar petitions, the IHC clubbed all the cases together and issues notices to the director-general of the Inter-Services Intelligence, chief of the Military Intelligence and superintendent of police. However, the chief of Military Intelligence failed to honour the summons notice by the court.
After the detention of Brigadier Ali Khan by the Pakistan Army for his alleged links with the HuT, more then six young activists of the organisation have gone missing from different areas of the country, out of which one was recently recovered from Lahore.
Meanwhile, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till Friday.

I'm surprised and saddened that people are still trying emulate a failed system of government from 1400 years ago. If people want to practice Islam, do so at your own free will. Do not force it down the throats of others. During the reign of 'rightly guided caliphs', there were seven offensive wars and two civil ones. Do we really need more war and bloodshed and dictatorial dynasties ruling in the name of Islam?
People being targeted because their call is one of la illaha illallah is not a new phenomenon. The Prophet s.a.w himself was being targeted by the Quraysh as Abu Bakr r.a famously replied " Will you kill a man who says my Lord is Allah"?!
Instead of targeting HT and its likes why don't the masses reflect a little on its call. It is not a terrorist organization, it does not employ violence in its propagation or implementation, so why shun it? because it calls for the law of Allah swt to be established on earth? and what do you think the consequences are rejecting the law of Allah swt for muslim lands while you accept His command of salah or saum?
The government is not capable of thinking about this issue sincerely, they don't even know what tawheed is, they don't even know the Arabic for surah ikhlaas but it is for the masses to reflect on the akhirah and work for something which will benefit their akhira, and secularism is not that thing!
@ HT bashers Well, if intellectual-tank is not blinking reserve and logical periphery has not yet shrunk to the minuscule extent, then bring forth the potent arguments you have against HT that aims at resuming the Islamic way of life. Let rationale be the measure of the discussion rather than resorting to pitiful low-sail comments. If unaware of the work Hizb is undertaking, or not being fed well enough to counter ideas that HT subscribes to, (and this goes to the insincere vandalized lot such as Umair Tariq) then do your research first what HT stands for and then attempt at countering ideas the organization is floating in this society. HT, being an ideological political party, rationally criticizes the conceptual footing of the capitalist breed, which is marked by greed, and provides a comprehensive alternate. Organization aims at establishing a modern, progressive Islamic State where state is responsible to provide all the essential needs to all of its citizenry, regardless of being muslims or non-muslims.
Even if we believe that HT is not a terrorist organization, still, its activities are shady. Their banners and posters reflect the mindset followed by HT members.

Such shameful acts by the agencies. They very well know the true nature of Hizb ut tahrir's work in pakistan. They know that the activists of Hizb ut tahrir are doing this difficult and challenging work from day one without any deviation and they know the sincerity of their work.
They know that the stance of Hizb ut tahrir has been the same from day one unlike other political parties who dance on their Western masters tone. The people of Pakistan also know that the people who have sacrificed their time, energies, money, their youth for them are working for their betterment. They have an easy choice like hundreds of thousands of other educated pakistanis to immigrate to the west where they would find comfortable and highly paid jobs.
we salute these brave sons of our land and i know that the people who have abducted them also know about their sincerity for they are primarily following the orders of their senior. Some of them have clearly sold their souls to their American masters.
For the activists of Hizb ut tahrir have shown that they are true to their words and willing to sacrifice everything for their people and their Deen.

@Malik Sajjad: Don't threat any one. It is a matter of free speech and the sentiments of everyone must be respected and try to listen what others are saying. Missing persons usually did not return home, their dumped bodies are found on roadside. This is not regular practice in any civilised country with their nationals. I am sure only one agency is involved from Chaman to Landi Kotal to abduct, kill and hide peoples, that agency is not limited to religious persons but communists of Baluchistan, Journalists of Pak media and persons of security agencies are also included.

@Ishtiaer Hussain: You have given many examples of foreign secret agencies playing games with the people of other countries. In case of CIA they are acting against the Taliban, Al Qaida and others. In case of Israeli secret service against the occupied Palestinians and so on. Be that as it may, there is not a single example of CIA doing anything against the US citizens on its own soil. This is the main difference between the other spy agencies and ISI. While they only work on foreigners and on foreign soils, ISI is busy against Pakistanis in Pakistan. The main issue here is ISI and MI have no regard for the high court and they totally ignore them as if they are above the law. Regards, Mirza

ISI had always played a vital role to estabilish US and kufaar .. how they will let the muslims free to establish Allah's Deen ... their lords is different from us ... They are pleasing their lords and we are pleasing our Lord(Allah).. so we will not stop our work unless we meet the death(iA)

Well I have read many books; they differ regarding the people responsible for the civil wars. But wars did take place. And Umayyad, Abbasids, Ottomans were dynastic monarchies. The king appointed his relative as successor, and the usual palace intrigues, assassinations and conspiracies were waged to decide the future ruler. You should read Maududi's book, Khilafat o Malookiat.

You say Ulema will choose thus it is a dictatorship chosen by men. The problem is that you still think that Ulema will chose anyone based on their own desire, while it is not. there is a criteria set and the Ulema are just matching it up with the right person.

HuT is a banned outfit. Therefore, a strict action was needed against HuT because HuT was trying to destabilise Pakistan.
@All, One thing is very clear about life, whatever your belief is; God or Allah has permitted it and what ever system it is that exist whether democracy, caliphate, communism, capitalism, socialism and even people that do not belief in any system of governance; God or Allah permitted it. As long as these systems are run by men.......I can assure you it has fallen short of God's standard it does not matter who runs it. Show me one righteous man here on earth that is fit to establish God's standard??? Every human being is self-centered and by this single fact justice and fairness has been jettisoned. In your quest for a caliph system of governance, does it really give non Muslims their rights? I have seen a bit of this system practiced here in Nigeria and I can assure you its judgment is very selective, where the poor who stole a chicken has his limbs chopped off, where as the man who stole billions of Naira from Government coffers is being celebrated, where is the justice???. Does it mean God or Allah permits some certain people to kill others even of the same beliefs because they want to establish a system? if we want to kill ourselves for our selfish reasons let us do so but not in the name of God or Allah; because He is going to hold us accountable for every life that we destroy here on earth in whatever name. We do not even have a single idea of what it takes to create a human being talk-less of us being able to produce a string of hair. Lets be very careful the way we use our selfish interest to perpetrate our evil acts and desires in the name of service to God or Allah.
There has never been a caliphate in Muslim world except for 30 years of Righteous Caliphs which included 2 civil wars.

@Muneeb Shere: The EU does not have a single leader at its head like the Islamic Caliphate would - nor does it get its legitimacy from religion.

What is that supposed to translate to in terms of governance? Will Allah choose a dictator from the heavens? Or will Ulema get together and choose this Caliph (If so then again, its a dictator being chosen by a few men - not God.) Democracy on the other hand gives every citizen the right to vote [and the right to nominate himself] in elections. A plural system that ensures that every citizen gets his voice heard through the ballot. Please read up on democracy before you comment against a system that has proved to be more successful in ensuring rights of the common people than any other system be it communism, a military dictatorship or a 'God Sanctioned' Caliph or Pope or whatever you choose to call it.
Why are they scared of HuT?
The intelligence agencies are desperate in their attempts of stopping HT, and the recent kidnappings are signs of desperation and weakness. Don't they know that the only way to stop an ideological political party is by using arguments, not kidnapping its members these acts belongs in a stone-age society.
@Crimson Blue: From your name and comment I can only judge that you aren't a Muslim. If you aren't, it isn't much of a problem. If you are, however, you should know that Islam came with a complete system including political, economical, social, governing and all sorts of aspects. The system revealed by the Creator of man, containing the Law of the Creator is much better to be established at any time in history, stone-age or 21st century, than the faulty laws produced by man's limited understanding. Secondly, Caliphate is the dictatorship of not a man, but of Allah, which, without doubt, every Muslim should seek to establish. And moreover, you don't seem to know that your 'democracy' is the same as dictatorship. The latter is the absolute rule of one man, the other that of a group of men (so-called parliament). In either case, the dictator(s) will think of only his good, which unfortunately is not the benefit of mankind at all. The One who created you is better aware of what is better for you in any case.

HuT is not a terrorist organization by any standard! When JeM, HuM, LeT groups openly collect funds at mosques during friday prayers why is HuT being targetted? Hafiz saeed has recently called for a jihad in a public meeting against USA, India, Israel & China! Every kid in pakistan knows this! Why is Army so scared of establishment of islamic caliphate in pakistan? Aren't we muslims? What does Quran say? The curse of Allah is upon the army & for fighting the war of kufr's which is why taliban is hunting down the army! Its time they change or they will be eliminated!
