Man crushed to death by train

Police said the victim was returning home after offering morning prayers

LAHORE:

A 55-year-old man died while crossing a railway line near 7-UP Railway Crossing in Gulberg on Wednesday. Police said the victim, identified as Saaduddin, a resident of Ittehad Colony, was returning home after offering morning prayers. While crossing railway lines, a train hit him. The victim fell down and sustained injuries. He was shifted to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police said that they were investigating the matter further.
