German vlogger Christian Betzmann converts to Islam

Social media star announces change on YouTube, Instagram

Renowned German content writer and a travel v-logger Christian Betzmann has accepted Islam, as he announced in an Instagram post on Friday.

“Islam is the religion of peace and I felt a deeper connection and something I want to experience and explore deeper for myself,” Betzmann wrote in the caption to his post.

“Growing up in Europe, the word Islam was always connected with negativity, war, terrorism and to be completely honest, I was never a religious person before so I didn’t really care what people thought back then. My best childhood friends were Muslims and deep inside, we are all human beings in the same simulation we call life,” he concluded with a smiley and happy photo.

In the comments section, Betzmann got lauded by many fellow YouTubers, including Sham Idrees, Zaid Ali and showbiz names such as Minal Khan, Zoya Nasir and Zara Noor Abbas.

Minal commented, “Mashallah, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful” whereas Zoya wished the newly convert well saying, “Mashallah! May Allah bless you with all that you desire and more. Lucky are those who find their calling.”

Zaid commented, “Welcome my brother! May this journey be easy for you aand may Allah bless you with all the happiness in the world.” Sham simply congratulated Betzmann.
