The Punjab Council of the Arts on Thursday arranged a rally to show solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
The rally was led by Punjab Council of the Arts Director Waqar Ahmed on the eve of Kashmir Solidarity Day.
The participants of the rally carried banners and placards inscribed with messages for the right of self-determination of the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir.
They paid tributes to the people of Kashmir for their untiring struggle for liberation from India. They chanted slogans in favour of innocent Kashmiris and against India’s aggression and atrocities.

People from all walks of life participated in the Kashmir rally. Addressing the participants, Waqar Ahmed said India must give the right of self-determination to the people of Kashmir.
He said the present government had raised the Kashmir issue on an international level. He urged the international organisations to take notice of India’s atrocities in Kashmir.
