Diljit Dosanjh drops brand new track for Rihanna post Twitter outrage

Rihanna shed light on ongoing farmers' protest earning praises and criticism online

Singer and Punjabi songwriter, Diljit Dosanjh has always penned strong words for ongoing farmers protest. On Tuesday, the Pon de Replay songstress tweeted in favour of farmers, earning praises but mainly from Dosanjh. In honour of support shown by Rihanna, Dosanjh has released a new song dedicated for the singer in appreciation of her remarks. Titled RiRi (Rihanna’s nickname) the song officially dropped on Wednesday, reported Hindustan Times.

“#RiRi #Rihanna” began Dosanjh’s tweet adding a closed-fist emoji in support. He shared the YouTube link to his brand new track and tagged the producer, lyricist and Rihanna herself.

In the song, Diljit sang about thanking God for creating a Pari (fairy) like her. He also sang about wanting to engulf her with presents and being obsessed with her, like the rest of the world.

The songstress may have been appraised by many; however certain actor Dosanjh has long-standing feud with, did not take this international recognition positively. Kangana Ranaut had tweeted offensive remarks in response to Rihanna’s tweet to which Dosanjh subliminally responded "Jaat Di Kohr Kirli, Shateeriyan Nu Jaffe... (Means that your status in life is rather insignificant but you know how to talk big)."

Later Dosanjh shared a picture of Rihanna with Run This Town playing in the background. A song that Rihanna and other artists based on the fascist and partisan movement.
