Information minister praises Prime Minister Imran Khan's Covid-19 strategy

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz said on Wednesday that the start of Covid-19 inoculation in all federating units of the country provides an equal opportunity to all.  

Praising Prime Minister Imran Khan's strategy to tackle the global pandemic, the minister said that the provision of health and job opportunities to the people is the priority of the incumbent government.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan kicked off the coronavirus vaccination drive with the first shot administrated to a doctor in Islamabad.

Addressing the ceremony to mark the launch of the campaign, the premier felicitated his health team for securing the vaccines and thanked China for donating 500,000 doses of the Sinopharm vaccine.

PM’s aide on health Dr Fasial Sultan among other officials was present on the occasion to oversee the inoculation drive.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the first tranche of the vaccine has reached all federating units.
