Opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh said on Tuesday that like all other government departments in the province, the education department too was marred by corruption.
Speaking to media persons during a surprise visit to Government Girls High School, Gharibabad in Dadu district, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader claimed many government schools in Sindh’s villages were being used as cattle pens.
He further claimed that despite the reopening of schools, many students in the province had not begun to attend on-campus classes and schools’ buildings continued to be used for housing buffaloes.
