Another PIA crew member 'goes missing' in Toronto

The spokesperson says the airline is aware of the development and will take due action against the air hostess

In another blow for the national flag carrier, an air hostess of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has reportedly gone missing after arriving in Toronto recently.

The air hostess Zahida Baloch was part of the crew on flight PK-797, and she disappeared after reaching Canada, Express News reported.

The authorities found out about Baloch's disappearance after the returning flight PK-784, which was supposed to be carrying her, reached back home.

Meanwhile, PIA spokesperson said the airline is aware of the crew member's disappearance and that it will take action against her as per the code of conduct.

The representative added that the Canadian Immigration Authority has been informed about the occurrence as per the set rules.

The development comes days after a male crew member onboard Islamabad-Toronto flight went missing after reaching Canada. Ramzan Gul 'disappeared' after the PIA flight reached its destination on January 29.
