A workshop was arranged by the Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Friday for students of the Cadet College Hasan Abdal to acquaint them with road safety tips and better awareness about traffic rules. More than 112 students attended the workshop in which efforts of the force in ensuring a safe road environment in the city were also highlighted. SSP (Traffic) Farrukh Rasheed informed the students on what special measures were being taken to curb various traffic violations in the city. He also informed them about traffic rules and regulations. He said educational teams of the ITP visited various organisations to spread awareness about a disciplined traffic system. About the performance of the ITP, it was told that its personnel had not only helped ensure a disciplined traffic system in the Capital but had also played a key role to curb the number of accidents.
