Ayeza Khan dethrones Aiman Khan as most followed Pakistani celebrity on Instagram

Dethroning Aiman Khan, Pakistani actor Ayeza Khan is now the most followed local celebrity on Instagram. With 8 million followers, the Meray Paas Tum Ho star now has the highest following on the social media app. Closely following behind, Aiman, as of now, has 7.9 million followers. 

In December, both artists had 7.8 million followers. Aiman was also included in Forbes' list of Asia's 100 Digital Stars alongside Mahira Khan and Atif Aslam. 

"With nearly eight million followers, Aiman is the most-followed Pakistani celebrity on Instagram. She and twin sister Minal run the clothing site Aiman Minal Closet, with 249,000 Instagram followers. Last year, she was nominated for Best Actress at Pakistan’s Hum Awards for roles in TV shows Ishq Tamasha and Baandi," the publication had said. 

In 2019, Mahira became the first Pakistani star to reach five million followers on the app.
