In Taxila, man suffering from mental illness ‘ends life’

A man suffering from mental illnesses allegedly ended his life by hanging himself from a tree in Taxila on Thursday.

As per details, police were informed that a body was found hanging from a tree at a desolated site near Guddu Chowk. Later, Taxila SDPO Tahir Kazmi and Taxila SHO Ghazanfar Abbas attended the scene with a police team. The forensic experts were also summoned to the site for the collection of evidence.

Police said the victim was identified as 34-year-old Dad Wali. He was living in the Taxila area with his wife and five kids. As per the medical record, he was suffering from extreme depression and trauma. The body was shifted to the hospital.
